Why the Coerver Center Of Excellence?
 
Players train in a structured learning environment that emphasizes skill training, small sided play and having fun with soccer. The curriculum is challenging. It is developed for players to master basic skills and gradually move into more difficult skills, but also emphasizes creativity and spontaneity.
Players develop a passion for soccer. Passionate coaches breed passionate players.
Players will not have to travel excessively. There are three regional centers to enable short commute times.
 
 

 

 
 
How does the Program Work?
 
IL Coerver COE will be taking applications for 8, 9, 10,11 and 12 year olds (U-8,U-9,U-10, U-11, U12)  players for our 3 Center of Excellence locations. 
 
How Much does it cost?
 
The Summer 2012 Center of Excellence costs $495 (with a Uniform) or $445 if you were on our Winter 2011/12 programs and dont need the uniform for Naperville and St Charles.  For Lake Forest Academy it costs $395.  The price includes a uniform and a ball.  *Before March 10th costs are Naperville/St Charles $450 (with uni.) $400 (w/o uniform) at Lake Forest Academy $350

Players Indoor Sports - Naperville (July 9th - 13th 9am - 2.30pm) 40 spots available
Lake Forest Academy - Lake Forest (July 16th - 20th 9am - 3pm) 150 Spots available 
Sportsplex - St. Charles (July 23rd  - 27th 9am - 2.30pm) 60 spots available

 

Who Qualifies for the COE?

 Any player who played Classic, Platinum or Gold in NISL or MRL, Champs league, A or B level in IWSL, YSSL Divisions 1,2,3 automatically qualifies. Bronze Level NISL players and C and D level IWSL players must have a letter of recommendation from their Coach or Director of Coaching

Who are the Coerver Trainers and what curriculum will my player follow?

 

Coerver COE Trainers come from many different backgrounds and countries.  Many are Directors of Coaching at local travel clubs.  Please go to our Coach Bio pages to see resumes.  All the Coerver Coaching trainers are trained in and operate from common curriculum derived from the Coerver Coaching Pyramid of Player development. This Pyramid is tabbed and explained on the left side of the Coerver home page.
